   @guerrillarain No we dont do nothing. Im not trying to be hostile either.

   I know you said you didnt mean weponized call outs, but it happens so often that it must be discussed. It happens to me and people i care about.

   Its fairly common actually, which might explain some of the pushback involved. I wont deny racism is another part because thats all too common as well.

   As for people who genuinely are causing harm to others the most important thing is putting a stop to that harm of course.

   I think i know who you mean and its someone ive banned from my instance multiple times.

   Frankly i dont want that person anywhere near me or my users.

     @guerrillarain I think actively stopping them from hurting people (which is something thats on the rest of us, not the people they hurt) while also not shunning them to death might be the best approach.
