     I am using AdBlock Plus and I don't see any ads. If I do, I'll be sure to take action. Thanks for the heads-up.

     For the record, I'm using Chromium. In the options ABP states "Out-of-date lists are updated periodically." How often? Your guess is as good as mine. However, you can always click "Update now".

     With #Firefox, I don't even use an ad-blocker. #RequestPolicy keeps ads away. @vinzv @benfell

     If you use and are comfortable with #NoScript, you will have no issues with #RequestPolicy. Basically, you get a drop down menu with a bunch of "click to [allow | temporary allow] requests from A to B". In writing this reply, I may have neglected the contribution of #NoScript in winning the war against ads.
