     That's... weird. I've just confirmed an email address (yahoo) without a problem, and within 2 minutes.
     Where did you get that error message exactly?

     So, to get it right: you click "Cancel", then you introduce the email address, and then you click "Add", right?

     I can see the behaviour you describe. It wouldn't be strange if there are federation issues, as the GS version we are using is alpha after all... Anyway, could it be that friendica treats both messages as a new -differentent- thread? It shouldn't, but...
