   😂 No idea! Maybe because "favs" were intented as bookmarks before bookmarks were implemented? I'm afraid i have not been a GS admin for enough time to have that arcane knowledge. Or maybe it is another but? 😆

     Mmm... i've found this:
     
     LOG_ERR: [gnusocial.net:3308.6b3ce8a1 POST /notice/new] ActivityPubPlugin: Webfinger check failed: Could not find a valid profile for "acct:administrator@gnusocial.net".
     
     So, it could be webfinger failing...

     I don't think it is the same problem @stigatle had. I've checked the logs, and your user seems to have the same problem as mine ("could not find a valid profile for..."), which is different than https://gnusocial.net/url/5602730
     
     In fact, it seems this happens with the last 4 (5?) accounts created, besides mine. So, it has to be something recent. I'll check more logs to find out.
     
     Thanks for the clarification; i think i have two bugs to report, the cascading thread one, and the webfinger error.
