     @5tr34k_ @codewiz Awesome! For the most part Mastodon/Fediverse works a lot like twitter and other social media platforms. Just takes time to explore and learn. @feditips is a great account to follow for tips and understanding how it all works.

     @KuroKuma @5tr34k_ I could turn it off temporarily if I wanted to, but I never want to... In fact, in some cases it gave me peace of mind: for example when I go on a hike alone I know that lots of friends could call the emergency services and tell them exactly where I was last seen.
