   This week I got the keys to my new apartment. It's 6 minutes drive from work (or 11 minutes by bicycle), and I'm sharing with two other SpaceXers.

     On Friday, I went to IKEA and bought a few essential things. We're still missing fridge, washing machine, drier, microwave, and a lot of other stuff...

     Even the toilet brush comes with detailed assembly and recycling instructions... and you can call IKEA in case you have any doubts! 😀

     @globalc If I had stayed in Japan, my long-term plan was to move to less urban place, perhaps live in a kominka house (but recently renovated with all the modern comforts!)

     But I have no space either. Whenever I buy something here, I also think about it taking up space, and that it gets in the way when moving at some point.. looking forward so much to have the feeling at some point of being settled somewhere, with a bit of space, and long term.

     @benoit @Fabimaru Some good friends, yes... they've come twice and shipped 12 boxes to Los Angeles. They need to come one more time to finish emptying the apartment... I didn't realize I had so much shit!
