     Printed circuit boards. The (often) green boards where all kinds of electronic components get soldered to.

     Your mainboard or various extension cards in your PC, for example.

     @fribbledom Chris Gammell (Contextual Electronic) training videos are a good start with KiCad. Specially his Getting to Blinky 5.0

     @fribbledom Yup, it's incredible! I've tried it a few times, because I do like to give Open Source more than just a fair chance. People complain about Blender being different than the competition plenty of times, and once you know how it works, it's great. I never got to that point with KiCad, though. I'm on EasyEDA. Apart from needing an account & depending on an online tool, it's pretty good.
