I know a person who has ever only needed like 3-4 hours though. And he's like in his seventies now, so he's past the age where he should be paying if that was a mistake for him. The thing is, he's aware of his exception, he doesn't present that as normal, as the girl there does. (Or maybe it IS normal in Japan? 🤷♂️)

MarkusL (markusl@fosstodon.org)'s status on Wednesday, 15-Dec-2021 22:21:48 UTC MarkusL @tagomago @matt In my limited dealings with Japanese people and a couple of short visits to that wonderful country, I got the clear impression that they went out of their way to avoid making a fuss or drawing attention to themselves. The Japanese people I've known wouldn't make a fuss about insomnia even if it were consuming their every waking thought.
