@Aurochs @reinderdijkhuis I live in the farthest corner of Extremadura, almost in Córdoba :blobpeek:
But I have to say that Aurochs is right, if you travel across Extremadura you won't regret :thinkerguns:

@reinderdijkhuis This roman thing reminded me of Mérida (back in Extremadura) the roman "capital" with theater and all. Also, if you decide to cross to Portugal through Badajoz city, you can have a beer and a tapa at the Plaza Alta, and see the sunset at one of the bridges that crosses the river. I know I am biased towards Extremadura, but I really like it! Also @Shaim82 is from the region!

@reinderdijkhuis Another very nice town that is probably on your way is Trujillo, the central plaza is very impressive for it's size, and the landscape of grassland and ponds and granite boulders is very impressive.
On the Portugal side I would not miss paying a visit to Marvao (a small medieval town on top of a mountain, with a castle, really awesome) and the city of Évora is also great, with a roman temple in the middle of the city.

@reinderdijkhuis That sounds great! If you go through the center of the Iberian peninsula, I would suggest that you drive through Extremadura, I really love that region and is largely undiscovered. The old city of Cáceres is very impressive and worth visit, I also like the towns further north (such as Plasencia, Hervás or Garganta la Olla, although this last one is a bit off track). It is worth go near Monfragüe and stop for a moment at the "Salto del Gitano" and see the vultures.

@Aurochs Yes, we'll be taking the van. Going to Portugal first and from there we'll take the southern route towards Málaga.

Because I'll be on my way to Portugal for winter vacation by Sunday, I think the last three #Jamuary sessions before that are pretty much already determined:
Today: continuation of yesterday's concept, so MicroFreak, guitar and long delays, plus a drum machine, re-using yesterday's sequences but in a different configuration.
Tomorrow: Test of the travel setup of OP-1 plus pocket operators.
Saturday: Pack up the travel setup and do the jam with the stuff I don't take with me.
