@fribbledom I don’t think I’ve done anything unusual to them. Several ex co-workers have the same model without issues. But once there is a tiny weak spot where the plastic part attaches to the band proper, the plastic will start to get pushed out, bend and then break.
I should have taken pics without the duct tape but I needed the headphones for my practice session.

Of the many items I brought to Portugal this time, there are three that I flagged as being at risk of falling apart during our 10-week stay. They are in fact all falling apart two weeks in, in part due to the harsher than expected operating conditions. First, these noise-canceling headphones, which are going on Exit Reviews when I have a bit more time. The outer casing is falling apart after only 4 years. I love using these but I expected more durability esp. for the price.

Because I'll be on my way to Portugal for winter vacation by Sunday, I think the last three #Jamuary sessions before that are pretty much already determined:
Today: continuation of yesterday's concept, so MicroFreak, guitar and long delays, plus a drum machine, re-using yesterday's sequences but in a different configuration.
Tomorrow: Test of the travel setup of OP-1 plus pocket operators.
Saturday: Pack up the travel setup and do the jam with the stuff I don't take with me.

@Aurochs Yes, we'll be taking the van. Going to Portugal first and from there we'll take the southern route towards Málaga.
