   📣 Programming Language World Championships 2022 #plwc2022 📣

   A tournament where 32 programming languages compete against each other, and you decide the winner by voting.

   In previous years, many of you have suggested a tournament with group stages, so here we go:

   8 groups, 4 languages each, 2 advance to the next round.

   There will be six matches per day, and in two weeks time we'll have a winner!

   Discussions are encouraged, but please, keep it civil and peaceful.

   It's just a fun game!

     I strongly protest Julia being included in the same group of Fortram, Swift and Go. Perhaps you were too afraid of Python' direct competition (like the year before)? There, I said it! 🤭

     How did you deternine the groups? Random assignment, or did you choose them?
