The next oldest GUI library on my machine is gtk2... too many things still depend on it ðŸ˜
Ok, the oldest of all is actually libXaw, the mythical Athena Widgets toolkit created by MIT.
Few Linux users are old enough to know what the heck I'm talking about, but most probably have it installed on their systems because it's used by something.

@comrad Yes, honestly, the simplicity of wish is something to admire.
And if you ever tried gitk, it's Tcl/Tk at its best.
@codewiz I dont use Tcl/Tk, I have only programmed some short stuff in it.
But somehow I am fond of it. Programmer's feelings are wired strangely.
@penguin42 I mostly use git's cli commands, but vscode also has a great extension for visualizing revisions and branches.
@codewiz What are you using instead of gitk? I did like Tk; it's still the easiest to program GUI system; I wrote a LOT of tcl/tk in ~2000 for a prototype/bringup system.
