   Following my recent trend of revisiting these old teen fantasy movies, I just watched The Dark Crystal (for the first time). Not great great, but I loved the gelflings design so much, this moment is beautiful:

     @tagomago I still think it is pretty great and one of my favorites from Jim Henson. But I have my childhood memories to go along with it (not teens), so I can see how it may seem underwhelming to watch for the first time as an adult.

     @tagomago Yes, I rewatch it every few years and think it still holds up to my expectations (through a child's eyes at least).

     @tagomago I have, but I cannot remember the details. I recall being satisfied with it, though. It seemed to capture the spirit of the original. You should watch it!
