   Better Call Saul might be my favorite TV show of all time? I hope the last few episodes are good. I’ve never seen a slow burn work so well for this long, but they’ve done it so far.

     @jplebreton @ja2ke Honestly at this point I would say it would probably be even better, because you won't know who survives the show for sure.
     (I personally didn't really like the show, but I did commit to it, so I'm glad actual seasons worth of setup are finally paying off.)

     @ja2ke i've heard great things about it from multiple people whose taste i trust a lot. i've never seen a single episode of Breaking Bad, how much would i be missing if i jumped into BCS?

     @dosnostalgic I’ve thought things are happening the whole time! But yes. This show is definitely the longest possible version of the domino meme, and the ramp up is a far gentler curve.

     @ja2ke In a classic tradition of American television (a format I'm generally not fond of) a lot of the things that were happening didn't actually make anything progress any further. Often Kim & Jimmy were in the same spot at the beginning of a season as they were at the end. Mike's stuff was more interesting, but it was slooooooooow with most stuff just being end season cliffhangers.
