   We released gum yesterday, which lets you enhance your shell scripts with a user-friendly TUI, complete with dialogs, prompts, lists, and selections.

     Sorry about that and I understand you're disappointed. I'd love to hear what we can do to improve that situation, but it does sound like the terminal / screen-reader integration needs to be entirely rethought.

     @fribbledom Maybe a bash/shell script is the wrong thing for your use case if you need another "random" binary to wrap the magic you can't achieve with the language you have chosen?

     In all seriousness tho: aren't 90% of every shell script launching other binaries, then mangling the outputs & inputs of the next call?

     Mine certainly are... and I really don't want anyone to reimplement git in pure bash 😆
