Is "lapicera" a fountain pen? I thought fountain pen was "pluma estilográfica". -

the official Spanish word for pen is "lapicera". But it refers to the old device using ink supplied in disposable cartridges. As it is no longer used in daily basis we (in Argentina) mostly use "birome" (ballpoint pen) which is the derivative of the name Biro the one who invented it.
