     They were profitable in 2018 and 2019, but filed a loss in every other year. Hard to say what 20 & 21 would have looked like without the pandemic, of course.

     It's an open protocol & standard, so it'll probably last as long as email. Nobody cares if a server goes down.

     if most people won't start contributing, also the Fediverse won't last for long.
     95% of T. revenues comes from ads, that's the reason why corporate social networks are free to use. Most apps actually.
