So, we jumped from #Twitter to #Mastodon, after a man with a sink showed us how fragile centralized platforms really are. And now there's #Bluesky wanting to convince us that their AT Protocol is even more robust than #ActivityPub. But is it really superior and would it have been better to build the #fediverse on top of this protocol, instead?

#Calckey not only federated, it’s a cycle or two ahead of the slow moving elephant, plus all the power of misskey flavoured markdown, a mature channel system, an enigmatic groups feature and a lot of others you will probably never use. Port your followers and posts (think the Devs have fixed that issue) and be a happy user of #Calckey, I’d say. Access the #Fediverse from Calckey on your own terms.

Decided to try out #Calckey (@stefan)

It still feels a bit beta imo, but it’s easy to see why the design is more likely to have mass appeal – especially once it becomes a bit more stable.

I’m not yet motivated to move anywhere yet, mostly because @ivory has greatly improved the #Mastodon UX for me.

But overall it’s great to experiment in the #fediverse. You get to see the magic of #ActivityPub in action: the simple idea that the apps we choose should not bar us from talking to each other.

Audon is a great real-time audio streaming service for the #fediverse! Think Spaces or Clubhouse, and you pretty much got it. You create a room for audio, where other people can listen to you, or just give them the role of speaker as well.

You can easily log in with your fediverse (Mastodon/Calckey/Pleroma) account, create a room, share the link, and you're ready to go!
