Hace poco cambié #Firefox (más de quince años usándolo, pero no puedo con la IA, es que noooo) por #Librewolf en Linux y #Midori en Android. También cambié #DuckDuckGo por #Startpage porque hacía tiempo que el pato arrojaba resultados un poco al buen albur. ¿Qué usáis ustedes como navegador y como buscador? No es por curiosidad, es por recoger opiniones.

Ok, what #browser alternatives are out there?

currently I'm using #Firefox (despite Mozilla), but it is slow and seems to go down the AI drain.

#Chrome is out (don't need even worse spyware).

My requirements would be
- (Arch)Linux, Windows is optional
- Fast rendering
- Working AdBlocker!
- No phoning home
- Not run by racist/transphobic assholes!
- Regular security updates

Am I looking for Unobtainium here?

#Linux question. #Firefox had been crashing and slowing down my system (Mint), it seems because it made something in systemd hang. I just turned off #DRM content and it no longer crashes (up to now) and it even seems to go faster. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Deberían revisar mucho el marketing que hacen algunos de #LibreWolf al ser tan irrespetuosos (e incluso mentirosos) con #Firefox. #Mozilla tiene unas dependencias y juega / compite a un nivel que tampoco da mucho margen a movimientos que sí se pueden permitir proyectos como LibreWolf. Correcto. Pero ojo con echar mierda a Firefox. Sin Firefox no hay fork que valga sin este. Relajar la raja, nenas.

@weberc2 Quiche is 2-clause BSD, and #Firefox already embeds plenty of libs developed by for-profits... so I really don't understand why they'd want to spend engineering resources maintaining their own implementation of HTTP/3. It's a complex stack which is still evolving fast.
