@leip4Ier Besides, the software freedom status of #Electron is still unknown, and as such, in every one of his talks, #RichardStallman advises that such status is equivalent of not being #FreeSoftware. @njoseph Unfortunately #OprnSource misses the point as it doesn't care to educate people on the same issues as #FreeSoftware does. Besides, the Open Source Definition, kept by Open Source Initiative, doesn't address #DigitalHandcuffs such as #DRM or the more elaborated forms such as those in many phones that deny the user the freedoms 0 and 1 (to adapt and reuse that in the same unit).

@signaleleven @turion i don't know if this is #FreeSoftware, (currently missing in https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/Category/Hobbies/home-automation). Telling reviewers on https://directory.fsf.org/ (by adding the entry yourself or participating in the meeting described in that page) can tell this later. All we can assume now is that it's not free/libre. The #Dieselgate scandal, the works of Eben Moglen, Richard Stallman and many others lead to the fact that #OpenSource isn't enough or misses the point.

El día de hoy hablaremos sobre un excelente proyecto que esta diseñado para ámbitos educativos y para los pequeños de nuestros hogares que quieran aprender sobre la programación, aun que también resulta útil para adultos y adolescentes.

El proyecto del que hablaremos es Scratch el cual es un lenguaje de programación visual el cual su principal característica consiste en permitir el desarrollo de habilidades mentales mediante el aprendizaje de la programación sin tener conocimientos profundos sobre el código.

Sus características están ligadas al fácil entendimiento del pensamiento computacional han hecho que sea muy difundido en la educación de niños, adolescentes y adultos.

Este lenguaje de programación se utiliza con fines didácticos para crear animaciones de forma sencilla y servir como introducción al contenido de programación más avanzado.

Europa pagará por encontrar vulnerabilidades en 15 programas de código abierto - MuySeguridad

La Comisión Europea financiará un programa de recompensa de vulnerabilidades para varios proyectos de código abierto utilizados en instituciones y administraciones de los estados miembros de la Unión Europea.

En total, la Comisión pagará por encontrar errores en 15 proyectos Open Source. Desde enero las aplicaciones incluidas son 7-zip, Apache Kafka, Apache Tomcat, Digital Signature Services (DSS), Drupal, Filezilla, FLUX TL, la GNU C Library (glibc), KeePass, Notepad++, PuTTY, PHP Symfony, VLC Media Player y WSO2. A partir de marzo se unirá otra, midPoint.

El programa se extenderá hasta el verano de 2019 para algunas de las aplicaciones, mientras que otras como Drupal estarán activas hasta octubre de 2020. Las recompensas van desde 17.000 a 90.000 euros.
