On my laptop, where I run #KDE Plasma and #Wayland, when I wake it up, it first appears unlocked and I can view everything that was on my screen before it went to sleep. A couple seconds later, and the screen will actually lock.

What if I had some private messages open or something and someone else opened the laptop lid?

It didn't used to act this way. 😦

PRO: Mi trovo bene con #KDE e, a parte piccoli bug, non ho avuto alcun problema. E' reattivo, ha tutto quello che mi serve, ha integrazioni comodissime e mi piace la coerenza dello stile in quasi tutte le app.

CONTRO: Questa distro, "Neon", è davvero tediosa. Mi dà spesso problemi con le dipendenze installando da DEB o repository esterni e spinge a usare Discover o Pkcon (non APT). Si finisce ad usare Flatpak/Snap..

Comunque nel complesso mi sto trovando abb bene

But I turn to the #Fedora booth and start a conversation with Ben Cotton and Neil Gompa on #KDE, #GNOME.and all that.

Perhaps #KDE should coalesce most of its frameworks into a monolithic repo.

Distros can continue packaging the resulting libs into a gazillion separate modules, if they want to (but don't see the point, given that most kf5 libs are required by the core desktop anyway).

Compiling #KDE #Plasma from sources on a 20-core i7-12700F results in a lot of idle cpu time due to single-threaded tasks: git pull, cmake, make install... 😕

Mucho ánimo a los que andan en Manjaro #KDE #Plasma, espero que no tengáis la versionitis que tengo yo. Esperar a la 5.25.1 es prudente, a la 2.25.2 es cauteloso, a la 5.25.3....

Es broma, a Manjaro llegará mucho antes que a la mayoría de distros y sigue siendo lo bueno del SL, hay una distro para cada usuario ( y para cada tipo de ansias por lo último), aunque alguna sea la de Hannah Montana...

Bueno. Visto que nadie me sabe decir nada sobre cómo instalar #gnulinux en mi #wacom 🙄 Me he liado yo sólo ha instalar #openSUSE con el escritorio #plasma de #KDE y de momento la experiencia es mala. Si era táctil ¿donde está el teclado en pantalla? He instalado Onboard para poder escribir...
Soy zurdo. Configuro la pantalla al contrario pero el ratón no gira, funciona igual, es decir, todo al contrario. Muevo el lápiz a la derecha, el cursor se mueve a la izquierda... 😬
