y hoy vía lector #RSS me enteré que había novedades, es decir, subieron nuevos recitales, además de los muchos que ya tienen.

Después de muchos años usando QuiteRSS como agregador de noticias GUI, quise salir de mi zona de confort, dando un salto hacia #RSSGuard (Qt y C++), elegido tanto por su integración con servicios en linea como #nextcloud news, feedly, #ttrss y otros, ademas de su posibilidad de ser podcatcher, fueron las principales bondades que me convencieron para darle una oportunidad (aunque #newsboat/podboat siga presente cuando estoy en terminal).

@gabriel Yo uso pila el lector de #RSS pero justo no para los medios de acá. Más bien sigo blogs/websites que tocan otros temas que me interesan. Y especialmente aquellos de los que no quiero perderme nada.
Con el tiempo fui eliminando aquellas que publican demasiado contenido diario. Me gusta estar al día pero que no sea una tarea pesada.

El resto de las noticias tienden a llegarme de alguna otra forma

Ah, también lo uso para el trabajo, para recibir alertas de nuevos artículos científicos basadas en ciertos términos de búsqueda en PubMed

Uh ahora que pasaron unos días me doy cuenta que nadie aportó otros canales. Se que su uso es bastante marginal, pero creo que los lectores #RSS se usan menos aún de lo que pensaba, incluso en el Fediverso.

This is a preemptive call to #Fediblock Meta's #P92/#Barcelona instance, for three reasons at least:
1. it'll be huge and extremely poorly moderated;
2. it will be a #privacy nightmare, allowing Meta to extensively profile #Fediverse users with greater ease;
3. it will be used to #EEE the Fediverse in the same way their “support” for #RSS and #XMPP was used to wipe them out from the general consciousness with a rug-pull (my full thoughts on this: http://wok.oblomov.eu/tecnologia/credible-threat-1/ )
