    Systemctl para administrar servicios en Linux con #Systemd

    Guste más o guste menos, systemd ha llegado para quedarse y prueba de ello es que la totalidad de distribuciones Linux grandes, excepto Gentoo, lo están usando como sistema de inicio predeterminado Por este motivo en el presente artículo veremos que es un servicio y como usar el comando systemctl para que todo usuario básico, medio o avanzado pueda gestionar la totalidad de servicios de su ordenador de forma fácil y sencilla.

    @guy@gnusocial.no My main concern with #systemd is the complexity. Yes, startup scripts may be shorter and easier to read, but putting so much functionality in one component seems like a poor choice for an OS designed around the philosophy of "Do only one thing, and do it well". That said, I've never had a problem on any of my computers attributable to systemd (I have !Debian and !Ubuntu servers and desktops, and one !Devuan box I'm trying out).

    I'm not sure !Devuan yet has the legendary stability of !Debian, nor a full suite of non- #SystemD applications in its repositories. But I'll be working my computers over to Devuan when it's a good fit.

    Devuan GNU/Linux 1.0 "Jessie" to Support Raspberry Pi 3, Acer Chromebook Devices

    La versión final del sistema devuan GNU / Linux 1.0.0 "Jessie" operativo está casi aquí, y la segunda Release Candidate (RC) hito acaba de golpear las calles hoy con un gran número de mejoras y correcciones de errores.

    La liberación devuan GNU / Linux 1.0.0 "Jessie" RC2 es aquí tan sólo dos semanas después de la primera Release Candidate para resolver diversos problemas con las claves de firma, así como para agregar los paquetes de firmware no libres y gratuitas en AMBOS mínima-vivo y escritorio -vivan imágenes ISO, junto con la cola de la escritura permite eliminar todos los paquetes de firmware no libres.

    la visión del proyecto devuan es enviar la versión libre de systemd del sistema operativo Debian GNU / Linux, esta segunda Release Candidate también añade la versión libre de systemd de NetworkManager, e incluye un montón de paquetes adicionales sin libsystemd0 en el Jessie-propuesta repositorio.

    Las nuevas versiones del xfce4 de pantalla, paquetes basados en escritorio y reportbug se añadieron también, y las entradas de KDE, GNOME, y la canela se han eliminado de la tasksel No son compatibles con la falta de apoyo de sistemas operativos cola para los sistemas init systemd . Sin embargo, los usuarios pueden tratar de desplegarlos después de la instalación.

    "El devuan pronto como se libera Jessie estable, vamos a centrar nuestra atención en devuan ASCII, la rama de desarrollo actual", lee el anuncio de la lista de correo. "Queremos darle las gracias por todo el increíble apoyo dado a este esfuerzo de desarrollo, y está participando en el proceso de hacer la distribución devuan base útil y fiable."

    También parece que esta segunda Release Candidate de devuan GNU / Linux 1.0.0 "Jessie" mejora el soporte para varios tableros ARM. El total de los dispositivos basados en ARM 29 son compatibles actualmente, incluyendo 3 Frambuesa Pi, Pi frambuesa 2 Frambuesa Pi, ODROID XU, Acer Chrome, Veyron / Rockchip Chrome, y Nokia N900.

    #Devuan, la distro de la que todos hablan

    Como tod@ fanátic@ de las noticias del mundillo Linux sabe, la semana pasada fue liberada la primera release candidate de Devuan stable. Y aparentemente ha sido muy bien recibida en las redes, basta con revisar el hilo de comentarios de la noticia sobre la RC publicada en el portal The Register.

    Evidentemente un gran número de Administradores de Sistemas detestamos a #systemd. Y la prueba de esta afirmación está en el trending de DistroWatch:
