    Was ist eigentlich das Problem mit #YouTube? Nun in Kürze formuliert: So ziemlich Alles. Im Detail aber sind es bereits allein die Hindernisse zur Weiterverbreitung interessanter Video-Inhalte und -Produktionen wie auch die Art und Ausprägung der Plattform für sich genommen.

    Natürlich KANN es hilfreiche Informationen dort geben, Anleitungen beispielsweise. Allerdings überwiegt etwas ganz Anderes und zwar der Präsentationsfaktor. Man lädt dort nicht Videos hoch, um vornehmlich zu informieren sondern sich selbst in Szene zu setzen. Getreu dem Motto: "Sehen und gesehen werden!" Es steht Jedem frei das gut oder schlecht zu finden, aber die sog. Standardlizenz ist dann die schlichte Krönung der Unverschämtheiten durch die Plattform seitens #Google. Sie verbietet jedwede weitere Verwendung eines Videos und ich würde schätzen, dass weit über 80% der dort hochgeladenen Inhalte genau diese Lizenz hinterlegt bekommen haben. Dabei vermitteln Webseiten sogar noch die Information, dass eine Copyleft-Lizenz nach "Creative Commons" nicht mehr Sicherheit vermittelt und man durch die besagte Standardlizenz seitens #YouTube / #Google besser geschützt sei.

    Hier zeigt sich in Formvollendung dann die Bequemlichkeit des modernen Nutzers. Statt sich zu informieren was mit den erstellten Videoinhalten passiert überlässt man diese einem Konzern und vertraut darauf, dass dieser sorgsam damit umgeht. Klar, und Geld verdient dieser damit dann auch. Als könnte man nicht besagte Videos dennoch lokal speichern und weiter bearbeiten, wenn die besagte Standardlizenz hinterlegt ist. Im Gegenteil: Durch "Creative Commons" sorgt man sogar noch dafür, dass Inhalte frei verbreitet werden und zwar in ihrer ursprünglichen Fassung, mit Respekt gegenüber dem Urheber / der Urheberin. Man zeigt einfach "Was erlaubt ist", eben nicht "Alle Rechte vorbehalten".

    Zuletzt bleibt natürlich noch die Nachfrage bei einem Kontakt über #YouTube. Aber letztendlich ist genau das die schlechteste Variante, da nur Wenige überhaupt jemals darauf reagieren - eigene Erfahrung. Am Ende ist die sog. "Standard"-Videoplattform genau das Gegenteil von "Freiheit". #Eigene-Meinung

    Was ich nicht verstanden habe und wohl auch nicht verstehen werde: Einerseits wird immer wieder proklamiert, dass es bei "freier Software" um ein neues Paradigma gehen soll und auch muss. Aber andererseits kurvt man derweil oft genug noch auf proprietären Plattformen herum und vermeldet dort sehr gerne Nachrichten und Diskussionen wie auch Videos und sonstige Inhalte.

    Wenn man derweil fragt, so geht es vornehmlich darum Inhalte nicht zu begrenzen sondern auch die Teilnehmer dort ebenfalls zu erreichen. Aber Hand aufs Herz: Werden diese sich denn davon etwas annehmen? Es wird doch für sie nochmals mundgerecht serviert und bequem weiter gereicht. Es bedarf keineswegs einer neuen Denkweise denn Nachrichten und interessante Neuigkeiten bekommt derweil doch bei #Facebook, #Twitter, #Google und #YouTube auch nachgereicht. Fast schon demütig sogar wird dann darauf auch seitens FSF hingewiesen wenn man Inhalte und Artikel teilen mag: "Einige Dienste KÖNNTEN unfrei sein!"

    Und derweil haben wir noch genügend Arbeit hier in den dezentralen Netzwerken vor uns. Diese ist mitnichten abgeschlossen. Meiner Betrachtung nach wäre es wichtiger hier vor der eigenen Haustüre zu kehren und nicht noch proprietäre Dienste einzubinden. Denn wie heißt es so schön? Schaue nur lang genug in einen Abgrund hinein und dieser schaut in dich. Abgewandeltes Zitat mit altem Hut und dennoch Relevanz, da man nicht ohne rückwirkendem Einfluss dort in den monopolistisch-proprietären Systemen unterwegs sein kann. Man wird in jedem Fall immer einen Einfluss mit zurück nehmen was nicht von Vorteil sein kann. #Eigene-Meinung

    Algorithms, man. They can be brutally stupid. This video is really interesting. It features three intelligent men having a deep conversation about important topics for nearly three hours. I really enjoyed watching it, and it challenged some of my strongly held beliefs. HOWEVER, two of these men are outspokenly critical of "SJW" politics on college campuses, which have made them unwitting heroes of anti-feminist troglodytes and their ilk. Since YouTube reduces me to a statistic, my suggested video list will now be filled with hateful rants by vapid, sneering MRAs, "Anti-SJWs", and other forms of swamp life because, hey, if I watch a video that they like, I must be just like them, right?

    It's the same on Facebook. These algorithms force one into an ever-tightening feedback spiral that not only hides new ideas from the user, but actively discourages them from seeking them out for fear of poisoning their feeds. I watched this video, but I have, many times, passed interesting looking content over because I was afraid on tainting my suggested videos with odious garbage. Because I allowed myself to indulge in this small bit of intellectual curiosity, I'll have to spend days watching nothing but videos are physics and tropical fish before things go back to normal, and even then, YouTube will try slipping in a few "red pill" and "SJW takedown" videos, just in case. Fug.

    @elbinario hemos dejado un par de bots en #mumble en sus canales correspondientes después de muchas pruebas, #youtube para reproducir música directamente de youtube, y #radiobot para conectar con streaming como el de @radiobinario, cualquier otro stream o archivo remoto. Los dos muestran ayuda con el comando .help y están en #NodeJS en el servidor de pruebas
