Third part of my videos where I'm live coding a docker-backup tool in #golang.

We'll encode and decode some container metadata as JSON and then struggle trying to restore the port-mappings because of an issue with the Docker package.

That's probably spot-on, yeah. You can't solve social injustice and people suffering _forever_, no matter how much money you donate. You can make sure to get this building fixed with donations, though.

I'd still question my priorities when I'm handing over a check worth $200m.

Or at least I'd like to think I would. Who knows how fucked your perception of money & worth is once you enter those stratospheres of wealth.

It's amazing how rich people get all sentimental about an old church and manage to donate multiple hundred millions of Euros within a day of such a disaster.

I mean, I applaud those donations, I really do. It's just baffling to me how your priorities allow you to care more about an old building than human people suffering from social injustice all around the globe and even in your direct neighborhood.

Naaah, DOOM ran fine on that. I mean, whatever your definition of "fine" is, of course. But I remember playing it on a 386SX and I still enjoyed it, albeit it was certainly a bit slow there.

This is the 33MHz CPU I've used for my first own PC build, and at some point in the near future I'd love to try and rebuild that machine from spare parts.
