@mariadocarmo I'm actually argentinian, living in brazil (SC). Using portuguese as the default helps me practice a little.

@mariadocarmo it's not about matching the closest, it's about matching the languages you have (only spanish, in this example) and if you can't match it, assume the default (english).

BTW, where are you having this problem? On mastodon, it detected my machine language (pt-BR) when I first entered.

@mariadocarmo most of the times, you only check "does the browser accept spanish? then, show spanish. If not, show english"
