That's the main diff. I didn't study monero deeply enough to tell you more.

Further than that. I can understand the lack of interest many people has on this kind of tech but denying the fact Bitcoin devs have great ideas is kind of stupid.

I'm teaching to people with 30 years of experience in software and they still are amazed by what they find in class.

As hackers/engineers its our responsibility to learn from things.

Os han enseñado diseño de bases de datos? Creación de lenguajes de programación? Diseño de debuggers?

El blockchain es otra herramienta más, una muy específica. Es más interesante aprender cómo funciona la criptografía de curva elíptica o un generador de números pseudoaleatorios criptográficamente seguros.

Pero el blockchain está de moda. Asqueroso.

Si alguien quiere saber mazo sobre Bitcoin... estoy preparando unos apuntes bien guapos para un curso.

@Notxor @fanta Lo probé en su momento. Me interesa mil porque por dentro está hecho en Erlang, pero más allá de eso... aprender más hotkeys no sé si es bueno para la mente... (el psicólogo eres tú)

First time I talk about this project.

I started visualizing some stuff in the screen.

This is for a #dataviz project I'm working on with a new friend. We are trying to understand our city's society. We started with #gentrification and for that we are making an analysis on the house prices.

It's being a lot of fun. Playing with #d3 #javascript ... the code I wrote is a marvellous spaghetti but it fucking works.

Integers are Immutable.

With:
b += 1
you are doing:
b = 2 + 1
This is creating a new reference.

The trick here you need to remember is the = in python doesn't work as in other languages. The = creates a new reference and binds it to the name in the left. So you are creating a reference to the result of 2+1, which is 3.
So: b = 3 is removing the previous reference to a[1] and changing it to a 3 in the memory.

Remember this!

PS: Same happens with tuples they are Immutable.
