Shamar (shamar@mastodon.social)'s status on Wednesday, 27-Mar-2019 21:54:00 UTC Shamar Yes actually I agree on this.
Right now, hackers should be payed through public taxes to hack whatever they feel interesting and release it under the strongest possible copyleft one could think.
This way we could throw crap away faster.
I would accept a fraction of my income to work on Jehanne full time for ten years. But that's not enough though.
We need to teach.
To learn how to teach, and teach what we learn. -

- program distribution should decouple the sender and receiver, so that the receive can identify and verify the sender identity but the sender cannot get any information about the receiver (except those the sender consciously decide to share, eg by signing a contract)
- each program execution should be a conscious decision of the userThis means no automatic execution of #JS or #WASM in a browser that people use mainly to read text.

Shamar (shamar@mastodon.social)'s status on Thursday, 24-Jan-2019 17:51:56 UTC Shamar Suggestion for kind people.
Some people need to polarize groups around them, more or like adolescents do to build a personal identity by contrast with parents, but for a personal and sometime economical gain.
This is happening on the #fediverse too. Some "twitter refugees" learned the #AI craft of #market #segmentation and are trying to reproduce this shit here too, but to their own benefit.Don't let them win.
Be kind, even if they insult you because of your race or gender.
And ask questions. -

I see you are studying for a Master in Law of IT.Would you mind to give a look at the #HackingLicense at http://www.tesio.it/documents/HACK.txt ?
I wrote it after a long study of existing Free Licenses (and in #copyleft in particular) to address some of issues that #FreeSoftware is facing these days.
Maybe you can spot plain errors or simply suggest me a couple of good juridical books on the topic to refine it.I ask because I see you are interested in software like I'm in Law.
