Hubzilla installed ok on !Freedombone without any stig test violations. A limitation of Hubzilla is that it doesn't work on onion addresses (or at least it didn't last time I tried), but a similar issue also applies to gnusocial. -

@aw @mmn yes, Qvitter and Pleroma use javascript. However, you can still use non-web clients which are GNU Social compatible. -

@schestowitz TBL isn't the web and the web isn't TBL. He may rubber stamp bad extensions to HTML, but that doesn't mean we have to use them or even implement them in browsers. If there is any center of power it's with the developers. -

@DenubisX There could be some fragmentation of the commons, but it all depends on how one thinks of it. Though some spaces will be unreachable to others, the utility of the commons will probably be more accessible between instances who maximize sharing.
