    I was never all that into Docker anyway. There are no doubt legitimate use cases, such as continuous integration, where you want to build a test system and then throw it away and do that in a fairly efficient manner. Personally, I'm more of a bare metal man.

    I've made quite a few changes to the postActiv installer for debian, modularizing it with functions and adding the Qvitter UI. The sources.list is generated to include backports, mariadb is installed and there's a helper script to ensure that daemons keep running.

    @thatbrickster It would be nice if they refocused on the desktop again, but I don't think that's Shuttleworth's plan. Focusing on cloud stuff will put them in competition with RedHat, and that won't be easy.
