What's your favorite cryptocurrency and why?

The most obvious difference of lifestyle is the normal daily activity. Not because you wanted to stay active, but because of your lifestyle, living a normal life.

A typical week in the Bay area vs a typical day in Munich from the perspective of Google fit (counting my steps). In both cases, I went to the office everyday.

I came to Germany for three months to evaluate it for permanently moving here from the US.

In follow-up toots I'll write about my observations on the difference (to the US). But not as methodologically as I initially wanted. Previously, I wanted to write about my experiment in a diary style. But the moment has passed and I'll only write some pieces that come to mind as time goes.

Idk why Aaron's incident make me so mad.
Maybe because he was working for the greatest good. Maybe because Aaron saw people who didn't have access to the resources (like the past me) despite being always privileged himself.

Aaron's story shows what happens when the stupid take power.

My country has been occupied by the stupid for the past 40 years now.

I would say there is NSF involved. However, their incompetence can go beyond that (without needing help from NSF).

Love is what sustains life.

10 year old niece showed me her program in scratch. It was neat. She converted her keyboard to a mini piano.

Blocks were in Persian. It made me realize how language is a barrier to non English speakers kids who want to start programming. Without that, they had to learn programming and English at the same time.

I'm very grateful of the people who made scratch and also the people who put the effort of translating it to Persian. You're awesome.

This toot was bitter sweet. It is sweet to know I'm not alone constantly dealing with the life question. I read it multiple times.

I swing between self sacrifice to make my friends and family happy (put their needs first) and focusing on myself. Neither makes me happy as the latter gives me guilt and the former, lost. Though none is the purpose of life. I think I've become more ok with not having life purpose. But happiness is still an unknown.

Three male colleagues were talking about haircut and hair products for over ten minutes today. To the point that I got bored just overhearing them.

It was a funny but pleasant moment. Normally all they talk about is how to brew beer.

Laziness is underrated.

Today, I was too lazy to go to work. The weather was also too nice. So worked from home and at 3pm I could not ignore the whisper of the beautiful weather. Went running outside. It was still bright, so could see the trees I don't get to see when I run at night. Also saw a whole lot of dogs on a play date in a dog park.

Till this day, I get deeply sad remembering Aaron. It well depicts we use anything to gain more power and popularity, as humans. MIT hypocritically wanted to make an example of him and the state prosecutor wanted to become the cyber crime figure of the US. All of that at the expense of a child.
