Rode another 68 kilometres today. The morning ride was too cold, my legs still hurt. The ride back home was very awesome, and allergies were under control 💊🎉.

The previous ride wasn't as cold in the morning, so today was a bit disappointing. But I had fun on my #bike.

I'm a huge broccoli fan, and that's super healthy.
Also red beetroots 🤤. So I might disagree there.
But sometimes eating 16 euro's worth of fastfood is needed

Whilst I would applaud as well, this has real impact on some groups. I used to be very active in mental health groups, who would only know Facebook and messenger. I worry about those and similar cases, as I failed to convert them to another platform

@fribbledom I actually need this in a PHP cli as well, might port it over completely at some point.

@fribbledom i see Power Shell on the list; It's pretty safe to assume that they all fail. Running all echo commands just prints the string to the terminal. So either it completely works differently, or that doesn't work at all.

@fribbledom the two query commands for the color scheme yield no results, but the others pass I would say.

@fribbledom I must admit that I use Windows Terminal, because it's build-in. On my laptop I use gnome-terminal.

I've pondered about switching to alacritty or kitty, so watching this :)

It's not controlling my life yet, and I want to discover what works for me. The reply @tomasino wrote contains a very good takeaway. Separate happiness and purpose. Find purpose by doing. And do things you've already discarded or are afraid to do.

@stampirl that's a great question, seeing as I'm asking how to accomplish finding it, the evident answer would be yes.

The question is rooted in feeling useful, feeling better in that sense. Being the best you can be. Contributing usefulness to the world. And in the end, feeling satisfied with life. Which at the moment I'm not really feeling.

To summarize; existing/being isn't what makes me feel enough. Quite the opposite.

Dear #fedi. How does one actually find one's purpose in life?

I have been searching for what makes me happy in general for years. I have baggage, and at some point I accepted that I would never be happy. I'm now back to what, how, and why.

I have to say, while MySQL is not great, I've had worse problems with PostgreSQL. So might even look at other options if that's the advice 😂

Almost had an accident today. In the middle of the road my bike's fender decided to break, blocking my front wheel instantly. I'm okay, but certain manly parts have hit the bike frame. Was not too far from home, so I fixed it with some rope and brought the bike to the shop walking. Even at 15 kilometres per hour this is a big scare, but this time it turned out ok

Went on a small #bike ride during my #lunch break. The forest of #fryslan #friesland always stays amazing. #cycling #nature.
