A small reminder to owners of small instances. You are free to use our #LibreTranslate api for your Mastodon instance. Simply just warn us by DM. Thank you.
Thank you to @dankeck about the message concerning accessibility with #Fedilab. Once you get 3.19.0, you just need to go in Settings > Compose and turn on "Mandatory media descriptions". The app will not submit your message until you add media descriptions.
Thank you for sharing your ideas to make the app even better and respectful.
#Fedilab allows to follow #Peertube instances (local videos). Could you suggest us some instances that we could suggest inside the app? Don't hesitate to share our message. Thank you.
#Fedilab 3.14.3 has been published. The most important point is the fix when scrolling.
Added: - Display date of the message instead of the boost (default: disabled) - Allow to disable release notes popup (Settings > Interface)
Fixed: - Fix timelines slow down and stuttering after some scrolls - Fix color issues with follow buttons - Fix import from settings (import from login was OK)
We introduced the ability to use #DeepL (Free/Pro) but that might be unclear if you just discovered DeepL. DeepL allows you to use their api with a paid plan (around 7 euros a month). It's also possible to get a free key with the dev entry. With #Fedilab we allowed both entries (API URLs are different).
Added: - Display all messages in threads from remote instances (when possible) - Allow to unmute/unfollow/unpin a tag from tag timelines - Display most used accounts in header menu for an easy switch - Automatically add the tag when composing from a tag timeline - Add a translate button at the bottom of messages (default: disabled) - Add account role in profiles - Translate Morse
We fixed issues due to new changes with #Fedilab. We hope, you will appreciate the new UI, though it represents a high change and restrictions.
Before the next production release, we would like to exploit the ability of public API calls to make you discover more from other instances that are not known by your instance.
You will be able to interact like if messages or accounts were known by your instance when it's not the case.
So we are moving the app to Material 3 design. Can you tell us what you would like to see improved for messages in your timelines? Or things that bother you. We listen to you and thank you for sharing.
