¿Hay algún músico/musica español y constructor/constructora de instrumentos aquí, que pueda tener un contacto con el Festival de Instrumentos Insólitos de Burgos? Parece que no tienen una página web oficial más allá de Facebook, lo cual es un poco triste...

    https://www.agendaburgos.com/agenda/evento/festival-de-instrumentos-insolitos

    Por favor, reenvíe esto!

Y por favor nota: Mi español es un poco pequeño, utilice el inglés, si es posible, por favor. Gracias!

    @patrick @codewiz @nanook 2 ->

because i have a past as a web dev and use uMatrix and such things always.

Most visitors (not) deal with consent declarations. Most just click accept.

I don't want them to quickly accept anything, i want them to be more alert to those things and start using simple protections at least, like Privacy Badger, Decentraleyes ...

-> or can _you_ produce a working content security policy for htaccess?

@patrick @codewiz @nanook Okay, i was reading that court decision differently.
    For reference (in German):
    https://rewis.io/urteile/urteil/lhm-20-01-2022-3-o-1749320/

Will try to understand this in more depth. However, if this isn't just talking about Google Fonts / website owner versus visitor, than the aforementioned remark, that this puts any transfer of ip into log files of 3rd parties into the focus, sounds like heaviwe depths to come. Technically this already happens with any referrer URL in anybody's logs, no?

@patrick @codewiz @nanook Consequences of this ruling currently seem limited to the remote use of Google Fonts on German websites. How this might extend to the scope of the whole European Community and/or the general use of CDNs remains to be seen. A small CMS-driven artist website (like my own) doesn't benefit from hosting stuff externally. I serve faster & more efficiently locally & i haven't any problems with rulings, that are protecting my visitors. I want them to surf free and unexploited.

@patrick @codewiz @nanook You are right in terms of the Bandcamp shared players, supplied _as is_ by Bandcamp. You can see how the awarness of this in in my thread here https://mastodon.online/@jayrope/107549861263082833
from a few weeks ago. In fact three people and me are in the process of collecting arguments to send to Bandcamp and askign them to take GA down from their external players.

If i could technically understand, how to replace the Bandcamp players with a version thereof, that blocks GA -> /2

Attached: 1 image To any musicians on Bandcamp: Can you ask the Bandcamp support, why they use Google Analytics with their shared players? I myself do not want to have _my listeners on my_ sites tracked unasked by Google _at all_. This is also a legal issue for any site owner within the EU. I've asked BC's support already, yet unanswered. If we were many asking this we can form a critical mass around this issue. Thank you for all you do & please boost. #Bandcamp #tracking #google #privacy #followerpower

@patrick @codewiz @nanook Yes, BC is based in the US.
It's widely used by musicians anywhere (like me) for being the only service letting music makers distribute music for a fair share (BC only takes 15% off the sales price) - respectively for free or "name your price" as well.

Does that explain it? Side note: The facebook.net connection should be disabled on my site, and i don't see it here. Got a screenshot?

I see fastly.net, too, only in uBlock Origin, and have no idea, what it does.

I should ask for consent, if i use their players.

But I will probably resort to using the aforementioned image option instead and ban iframes from BC from my sites.

The big problem here, is that most musicians and music mags aren't aware of BC players on their websites having tracking issues at all. BC doesn't alert you about GA, where they supply their iframe code for anyone to copy.

    I only noticed,

Okay, so: German court decided on Jan. 20th 2022 that sites will need to host Google fonts locally.

Visitors are otherwise entitled to receive 100€ in recompensation for Google fonts transferring IP numbers to Google servers.
Google uses fonts to track users, especially if they are logged into only one other server, where stored personal data might identify them.
