Released just now, video from the antiauthoritarian New Years celebrations for this Newroz in Bremen, Germany.
Sooo nice. Just a tiny bit of moisture in my eyes. ;-) Yes, by the way, that's the flags of the feminist antifascist guerrillas YPJ and YPG. :antifa: :feminism:
Another scene from an antiauthoritarian New Years celebration in Tehran yesterday, to the soundtrack of the song "for freedom", made an instant antiauthoritarian feminist classic by the regime arresting the author for creating it.
"Time to Overthrow the Fascist Government!" https://kck-info.com/statement-mar1823/ A new statement today from the umbrella organization for democratic confederalism parties, KCK, on the ongoing activities for this antiauthoritarian New Years, Newroz/Nowruz, which is rooted in the ~5000 year old legend of Kawa/Kaveh the Blacksmith's defeat of the tyrant Dehak/Zahhak.
The freedom guerrillas in Rojhelat/NW Iran whose slogan "Women! Life! Freedom!" (Jin! Jiyan! Azadî!) spread from them to all Iran as the main slogan of the ongoing antiauthoritarian feminist protests, uprising, revolution against the Iran-regime, lit their antiauthoritarian New Years celebrations (Newroz) fire in the mountains. Newroz pîroz be! (Happy New Year!)
The original video was... a bit slow, so I cut over half of it. ;-)
Two hundred in demo for the radical rapper Toomaj (Salehi) in Berlin, reports Public Service radio in Sweden (SR), detailing (as I mentioned previously) that Toomaj has been arrested for participation in the current antiauthoritarian feminist protests against the Iran-regime and faces a State-murder sentence (death "penalty") for the "crime" of "spreading corruption on earth" (i.e. spreading the call for freedom on earth).
Toomaj's uncle Eghbal Eghbali tells SR that after a month in jail the family is certain Toomaj has been tortured but believe bringing public attention to the case may protect Toomaj from being killed by the State.
"We'll fight, we'll die, we'll take back Iran", declared today by reportedly "thousands" of antiauthoritarian feminist revolutionaries in Bandar-e Anzali, north-coast Iran.
Can you feel my heart beating? It beats with a revolution on the cusp of breakthrough. My eyes blurry with the sights of despair, love and joy I have seen for decades. We are here, you and me together. You can see how decades of separation has been shattered into a unified cacophony of demand to "let us go, united into freedom". Now is the time. Now, rise.
