Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) alliance rushing in to fill the vacuum after al-Assad's army (SAA) extremely irresponsibly just left Deir ez-Zor in what can only be assumed to be some kind of wish that the ISIL/Daesh sleeper-cells almost certainly still in the area would take the opportunity to do a major resurgence and grab it.
And now the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) own video of when the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, which is part of the SDF alliance, expanded to secure the people after al-Assad's regime forces had abandoned the place.
As in other places the locals have their own autonomous military self-defense council, similar to the maybe more widely known Manbij Military Council and more.
ICYMI, al-Suwayda/Sweida in southern Syria has been essentially autonomous due to continuous protests on going https://todon.eu/@b9AcE/113584147226360951 for over a year.
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) alliance, ~20 minutes ago: ───── Update | Large-Scale Kidnapping Campaign by Turkish-Backed Mercenaries in Shahba'a
Turkish-backed mercenaries have launched a large-scale kidnapping and enslavement campaign against civilians besieged in the Shahba’a region, north of Aleppo. Over 120 vehicles carrying hundreds of civilians, who were attempting to evacuate to areas in north and eastern Syria, were abducted and taken to an unknown destination near the Sheikh Najjar area. This action comes two days after these groups obstructed a previously agreed-upon civilian evacuation. Furthermore, with the aim of enslavement, these groups have detained over fifteen thousand civilians and abducted a large number of them. The besieged civilians are enduring harsh conditions, facing starvation and water shortages.
Free Trade Union of Iran, yesterday: ───── Argentina's Fascist Police Crack Down on Protests
[On Friday] a large number of Argentine citizens, including retirees, workers, students, political and civic activists, etc protested against the neo-liberal policies of the country's right-wing President Javier Milei, in front of Congress in the capital. […] Protesters gathered in front of Congress as far-right President Javier Milei was in Congress. Just two months after taking office, Miley has implemented many of the orders of global neo-liberalism, including de-contracting labor, lowering wages, cracking down on unions, shrinking the government and so on, or is planning to implement them.
[On Friday], police first attacked the pensioners and beat and injured some of them on the sidewalk near Congress. Then the flames of the anger of the subjugated spread, and the youth, students and workers who had taken to the streets by organizing large trade unions stood up to the police and clashed with mercenaries. Police fired pellets and tear gas and wounded many people, including journalists. According to Argentine activists, police deliberately targeted reporters and brutally abducted them. According to the same reports, many protesters have been injured and arrested. ─────
Police nabbed a graffiti artist attempting to flee the scene of committing this (picture) adorable art in the harbor of Visby, Gotland, the large island just outside southeastern mainland Sweden. The 27-year-old was prosecuted for vandalism, with the prosecutor demanding a fine.
Police's interrogation records said e.g. that "His intention is to offer free art to passersby." and... the District Court of Gotland... agreed.
The court's ruling states that no harm has been proven and that the artist "on a gray and cracked concrete façade which is the short end of a loading dock, has depicted a lamb.", that "The way in which X has illustrated the lamb testifies to an artistic work carried out with a certain amount of artistic and technical skill." then finally "According to the District Court's opinion, the beauty value of the cracked concrete façade - in purely objective terms - has increased through X's painting." so the 27-year old artist was acquitted by the court, which also ruled that the police had must return the spray cans they had confiscated.
Recently it was the hottest on earth with 50.5°C in Zabol, Iran-held part of Balochistan. At the same time, a sandstorm buried peoples' houses under sand and cut off access to water.
The government's response: ... Worldwide news-media reports: ...
The Iran-regime is systematically racist against the Baloch people through clear selective neglect of essential infrastructure, education, disaster responses, etc, etc, just as the Pakistan- and Afghanistan-regimes have been and remain over the areas of Balochistan they hold and as England's empire before them. Worldwide news-media hates anyone oppressed under the Iran-regime, because they don't bother to look past the word "Iran" so equates the oppressed with the oppressor.
Luis from Italy went to rate croissants, during the people's ongoing defence against the police rioting for capitalism-extremist Macron's dictatorialism. I made like a trailer-thingie with hardcoded subtitles for you...
