stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Tuesday, 03-Oct-2017 20:34:20 UTC stig atle @bobjonkman GNU+Linux desktop \ Windows. (yaics has nothing to do with diaspora.)
All tough I use diaspora my self, currently with the 'diaspora native web client' app on android, works very well there. I tried the dandelion app - but I did not like that one, so that's why I use 'diaspora native web client' app instead for that. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Tuesday, 03-Oct-2017 20:31:48 UTC stig atle Some settings needs a restart to properly initialize, that is something I want to fix. It's mainly related to switching theme. What you mention about clicking tags is true, it does open in the browser, it should rather open in a new timeline for that tag. That has been written in the bugtracker here - https://gitlab.com/stigatle/yaics/issues/8 , I'll prioritize that task. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Tuesday, 03-Oct-2017 17:35:32 UTC stig atle To those of you who use #yaics ( https://gitlab.com/stigatle/yaics/ ) , what can I do to make it better for you?
If you have suggestion about new features or improvement - feel free to let me know. I will start developing on it again now shortly, there is some items in the issue tracker that needs to be fixed. -

stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Monday, 02-Oct-2017 15:50:47 UTC stig atle @make @frankiesaxx I might have worded it wrong, not flooding at my ISP , I ment as in its causing problems in general for my ISP (more like infrastructure being broken). I saw a guy running around fixing fibre down the road earlier. The weather will be better tomorrow, so hopefully things will settle down soon. -

stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Friday, 29-Sep-2017 13:17:36 UTC stig atle This week has been super stressful at work, long days and intense tasks (coding related). But now it's weekend again and time to rewind and reload. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Friday, 29-Sep-2017 13:16:16 UTC stig atle @roland Yeah, I have owncloud, which I use for that. And one of the best features about it (which I'm sure nextcloud also has) is the way it backs up all your photos. Every time when I get home it uploads all new photos to the server, I love that feature. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Friday, 29-Sep-2017 13:14:58 UTC stig atle @storm Yes, I've been using it before. The problem is just that I do not currently have a machine available to run it on, but if I decide to run it I can do so on my VPS that hosts my website. So I'm considering this as a option. It's just that it's a bit of a pain to set up initially. Most likely I'll end up running that. I'll think about it over the weekend. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Thursday, 28-Sep-2017 18:48:15 UTC stig atle @grmpyoldman @milan For me it's easier to refer to my website if friends and family wants to see my images, so its just easier and better to centralize it around my already existing website, instead of using another service for my images. -
stig atle (stigatle@quitter.no)'s status on Thursday, 28-Sep-2017 18:22:03 UTC stig atle @milan I will most likely just add a photo gallery to my own website ( https://stigatle.no ) , and put stuff there instead. I enjoy taking photos, so taking the time to edit them and selectively upload makes it feel more personal.
I have a lot of photos on my instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/stig_atle/ ) , but I'll just download them all and put on my own site, then continue to add new there instead of at instagram. -
