    Turns out my ISP owes me money, I have mistakenly paid double for two months, so now they get to pay me back ;) Feels good to have that money extra when we've spent money fixing our kids bedrooms.

    We fixed our son's room today, 2 layers of fresh paint and a nice wall-to-wall carpet, feels good to have both kids room fixed and they sure are happy about it! Seeing them so happy about it sure puts a smile on my face.

    Archlabs is the kind of distro that appeals to me. Minimalistic.

    Today has been spent painting Emilia's room, and putting on wall to wall carpet, wqs nice to get that done today. Next is patrick's room. That one is a bit smaller so it will be a easier job.

    Me, Marlyn and our kids spent the whole day at a lake in the forest, was really nice, some friends and their kid also joined. We had a fire, made food, fished and just enjoyed the day outdoors.
    It's a long walk from the road, about 40 minutes each way, the kids where fantastic walking that trail, so I'm really happy :) Feels so good to have a successful day out like today. When we got back to the car they fell a sleep in about 2 minutes heh.

    Been hunting a bug in the material preview system in my render plugin for 2 days now, I finally found it just as I was getting ready to go to bed. Now I can sleep well ;)
    Took 2 days to find the bug, and 2 lines to get rid of it... hah, c++ = love and hate at the same time.

    @kevie I have not had alcohol for 13 years or so (alcoholism in my family made me really not like to be around it) - but recently I have a urge to kinda go buy some whisky and have a urge to just sit outside with a small glass, and just enjoy some piece and quiet while taking some sips from the glass. Also having Celiac disease complicates things since there's a lot of things I cannot have. But I'm sure I'll sit there one day soon and enjoy it. ;)

    How are you all doing tonight?
    I've had a nice day at the office ,then a nice day at home, took my kids out for a good walk, they had their bikes so they could finally keep up with me when I walk ;) (I'm tall so I walk fast), but it won't be long until I have to run or get my own bike to keep up with them hehe.
