Me siento tan frustradado. Sigeun violando mis derechos. Nunca para. Aunque hay ratificacion de mi inocencia, todavia necesito seguir presentandome a la fiscalia cada viernes. Pero hace un mes, fiscalio esta negando tomando mi presentacion. Hoy negaron recibir escritos tambien...

Feeling extremely frustrated. Even though my innocence was confirmed in January I have to keep presenting myself to the prosecutors office every friday. But now, they refuse taking my presentation, even though it's a judicial order... More violations every time.

- Solo deberían utilizar software libre.
- Porque son sistemas hechos con dinero de impuestos, todas las sistemas deberían SER software libre.
- Cada año deberían ser revisados por seguridad, por una emprese independiente.
- Los informes de seguridad necesitan ser publicos.

Today the #cryptorave2023 in São Paulo will start. CryptoRave is one of my absolute favorite events, and I used to go every year, before I was kidnapped into this whole situation... I really wish I could be there - it's a space with a great focus on activism and how technology can support that.

Tomorrow I will give a small talk remotely, talking about my case for the first time. But I really wish I could have been there in person.

Today it is exactly 4 years since I was illegally detained at the Quito airport in Ecuador. Today it has been over two months since my state of innocence was ratified by a tribunal of three judges - but they still haven't delivered the written decision, so the process is in effect. I'm still under the same restrictions even though I was declared innocent. We have no idea how long they will continue dragging this out. In theory, there are no time limits for this stage...

To be honest, this day has been very hard, every single year. But what makes it worse is not knowing for how long I will continue to be in this limbo.

In the beginning of my case, Arturo Torres was one of those journalists that wrote a lot of me. He had a big platform, including writing for CNN. In general, he wrote stories with scoops about me - most of the time completely outlandish. For example, at one time he claimed that the US had decrypted my devices. However, no evidence of this ever showed up.

For a long time he has also claimed I have done all kinds of devious deeds - but once again, things without evidence and no sign in the prosecutions material. Then he fell silent. It's been a long time.

But today, just over a week after my innocence was ratified by a tribunal, he suddenly writes a column about me (https://www.primicias.ec/noticias/firmas/olabini-juicio-hacker-ecuador-analisis/). And while he admits that I was declared innocent here, he implies that there are other crimes I have committed that I'm not innocent for. He says straight out that the money from my defense team came from WikiLeaks (which is absolutely not true). He tries to imply my involvement in other things. But not even he can actually mount an efficient attack anymore. He tries, but ultimately he fails - the evidence of my innocence has become clearer than ever.
