    OpenWeatherMap es un servicio que provee una API libre para acceso a información meteorológica. Adquiere información desde distintas fuentes (entre ellas, alrededor de 40.000 estaciones meteorológicas desde las que extrae información en tiempo real) y la procesa para entregar un pronóstico lo más acertado posible. Además, invita a estaciones meteorológicas a unirse al servicio y así mejorar el nivel del pronóstico.
    Según dicen en su sitio, la idea se inspira en iniciativas como OpenStreetMap o Wikipedia, en donde prima el acceso libre a la información. De hecho, usa OpenStreetMap para mostrar mapas.

    Nice to see @aral in the fediverse. I've mentioned it before at meetups in Manchester, but it would be good if FSF or other similar organisations ran a campaign to get more folks from the open source world actually using open source communication systems, rather than Slack, G+, Facebook, Google Hangouts (or whatever it's now called), etc.
