#introduction I am a mathematician and cognitive scientist by training and troublemaker by inclination. I have been following the mastodon universe from the sidelines for a while now but a recent article (and facebook's tanking stock!) made me create an account here.

As a complete n00b, I am at your mercy. Tell me what I should know and who I should follow!

I really like, the federated timeline column of Mastodon. It's nice to be able to peer into the entire fediverse and be able to see basically everything, probably only filtered by time and chance.

And sometimes the content there is something nice to engage with.
I can practically be interested in strangers and care for their fate, without some preestablished connection or as much as a follow.
