Oh man, Adobe tools are just the pits. I can't believe anyone would CHOOSE to use them.

@bob It's a little concerning. The history of Youtube is fraught with big legal battles. Ones which the admins of little Fediverse servers wouldn't have the resources to fight.

Honestly, my perspective is quite different. The algorithm - after years of use - provides me with some decent recommendations.

I guess it's a different beast for everyone.

It's been generally assumed that Youtube is dying for smaller vloggy creators such as myself. Most people have moved on to Tiktok, Snapchat, Instagram (for oldies), for all their short-form, community-made content.

I'm not quitting Youtube for good any time soon, but maybe it's time I considered the #Fediverse to be my primary platform. I spend most of my social media time here, I genuinely enjoy it, and I think it's more of a reflection of who I am and what I want to say.

@tagomago Yeah it's meatspace polling for Covid.

I had my vaccine polling work brigaded by hundreds of anti-vaxxers trying to push their views. Tampering with polls does nothing to benefit anyone, it's just annoying because it invalidates the data.

These aren't people who 'just have a different opinion', these people are on a dumbass crusade and I don't have time for it.
