jezra (jezra@pleroma.jezra.net)'s status on Wednesday, 20-Dec-2023 21:37:06 UTC jezra from the command line, I can NOT open a file on a mounted drive using `firefox /path/to/the/fucking/file`, but if I use File > Open and then use the File Open dialog to select /path/to/the/fucking/file the file will open but the path in the address bar is file:///run/user/1000/doc/f7de3ceb/file
What gives? -

jezra (jezra@pleroma.jezra.net)'s status on Wednesday, 20-Dec-2023 21:37:03 UTC jezra @hobbsc For this particular issue, I have a few options:
1. have root mount the drive somewhere in my home directory
2. install Firefox as a deb and not a snap
3. use sshfs to mount the drive in my home directory
