@switchingsocial Please, reconsider promoting @write_as until they actually release their "open source" code openly.

Currently, they are a have a GitHub with nothing _on_ it, which is #openwashing at its most despicable.

When https://github.com/writeas/Write.as has source code on it, I'm likely to throw my support fully behind it, because I would absolutely love an ActivityPub blog! Until then... no.

Quick recap so I know what happened when I come back in a year: W.T admin Alda said some TERFy bullshit about NB people. Reports were filed, discourse was had, Alda decided to shut down Witches.Town.

On any other social platform, this would be a disaster. The same thing happened to my friend group's TeamSpeak server, and we basically lost touch.

Here, on the Fediverse, it's a minor annoyance at best. Export your follow lists & move.
