An upside-down sign, right?
Which looks more like the letter U to you?
Yeah, I get it.
My mind is twisted.
It cannot be helped.

Is it just an age issue, or do most people have a combined excitement and anxiety about starting to use a new cellphone?
The poll is over.
Thanks to all who tested the #puzzle idea with me.
I evaluated the answer using Python3 logic rules.
(1 == 1) evaluates as True
("one" == one) turns out to be problematic because it depends on the assigned value of the variable...which might have been a string "one"; only then would it have evaluated to True.
(not the best test case, sorry)
I would, therefore, support the majority answer of "False" from the poll.
I'll think more about doing this puzzle in the future.

This, too, applies to me.
Skip. These posts you won't see.
Still, these thoughts I'll share
Just in case you're still there.
So it is possible to run them in parallel?
My main concern is the hookup I have with my email provider. It's the older style POP connection, so mail gets deleted from the server when accessed.
That could be a deal breaker.
I use Thunderbird on a Kubuntu system.
I like having my mail accumulate on my home system and have used it consistently (I think) since the days of Eudora.
I run my system in a "stable" configuration. Is there any way to very carefully look at the beta without mucking with my main setup?
Sadly,
Our support system does not routinely make that the reality of life.
Too many people cannot pay for their actual needs while others pay for yachts which sit, unused in their high priced marina moorings, etc.

While I'm in gratitude mode, I'd like to mention all the fediverse admins and moderators whose tireless work provides these comfortable places for us to chat, share and generally be ourselves.
Please remember that the costs of running an effective place like this is real.
Consider adding an occasional donation (or a regular one) to the maintenance of the server and systems which support your community.

Trimming back large fountain grass clumps is a rite of spring.
When I bought them, I was told to do the trimming in April.
I notice that most properties that are professionally landscaped have the grasses reduced to tufts in the fall.
Am I missing something I should know.
Landscape service is across the street mowing a lawn which has not begun to grow this season.
Homeowner is very happy, I'm sure.
Across the street, we get to enjoy not only the mower, but three leaf blowers, too...
Gracias.
Tenemos muchas plantas nuevas en primavera.
I am working on my own version of an idea I saw elsewhere, a clip to hold the small tube for aerosol cans like this one.
The white rectangle is the part I'm working to make. Not the final version yet.
Estaba haciendo impresiĆ³n 3D ayer.
Llueve hoy en febrero. No parece correcto.
