What kind of questions did you need answered?
What area did you need more information about?

As I said above, I think the easiest way to understand this is to try it out?
If you install the plugin and follow the blog's address in Mastodon, and its posts appear in your timeline, its functioning becomes clearer?

1. Log into your Wordpress site
2. Go to "Plugins", "Add New", search for "ActivityPub" plugin, install and activate it.
3. Go to "Users", then "Your Profile". Scroll down, and right at the bottom there's a new section called "Fediverse" with the blog's Fediverse address.
4. Share this address on #Mastodon etc, people will be able to follow it by pasting it into the search box and following it!

If you can get it operating, I think it becomes a lot clearer 👍

Have you added the plugin to your blog?
If so, log into your Wordpress settings, then go to "Users", then "Your Profile", then scroll down until you get to a section that says "Fediverse".
That's where you can find your blog's Fediverse address, and people can follow this address from Friendica, Mastodon etc.

switching.social (switchingsocial@mastodon.at)'s status on Saturday, 24-Aug-2019 20:10:17 UTC switching.social It has to be the fediverse address, rather than just the website address.
If you go to the "Your Profile" section you should see a "fediverse" section that tells you the blog's address.
The plugin adds a "Fediverse" section which tells you the user's blog's fediverse address.

switching.social (switchingsocial@mastodon.at)'s status on Saturday, 24-Aug-2019 19:51:39 UTC switching.social Just to make clear, your blog's address isn't in the plugin's own settings.
It's in Wordpress's ""Users: Your Profile: Fediverse" section (see screenshot).

I think Phie said the address of the blog changed today, so the .ovh one won't work anyway.

There was a discussion of this topic a week or two ago? I can't find the thread though :blobsad:
The consensus was that there's no clear way to do this privately/ethically, because whoever protects you would be able to spy on your traffic.
