I've already had to block people from that domain for posting racist material, I have zero trust that there is anything innocent about this.

Nazis have this cunning technique called "lying" which they use on public facing parts of their sites to avoid legal problems.
It's what goes on in the site itself that matters, and Gab is a cesspit for people who literally want to kill others.

            No, absolutely not.
Promotion of murder and genocide is wrong, we should do everything we can to stop it.

            Gab is a Nazi instance.
Nazis literally want to murder those who are unlike them.
I care about the people who are their potential victims. Maybe you should too.

The site is carrying the Gab branding, it may be an attempt by Gab to bypass the blocks on gab.com and gab.ai.

It is an instance filled with Nazi propaganda including promoting murder and genocide. It should be blocked.
If you want to discuss semantics you are either deliberately or stupidly missing the point.

Because Gab knows lots of instances have pre-emptively blocked their own domains (gab.com and gab.ai) so they are trying to get in by using a different domain.

Gab seems to be using the "exited.eu" domain name. Please block this ASAP.

If you want to invite friends, family, colleagues, readers or anyone else to sign up on the same Mastodon instance as you, try using the invitation system:
1. Click on "invite people" in the bottom left corner of the page. (If you're on multicolumn, click on the "invite people" link at the bottom of the Getting Started tab.)
2. Choose your invitation settings (uses and expiration date)
3. Click "Generate", then send a copy of the link to the people you want to invite

I think some instances have bundled XMPP accounts with fediverse accounts?
Don't know how that works in practice though.

@switchingsocial There doesn't happen to be a messaging program for the fediverse does there? Something that accomplishes the same task as things like Matrix, but can be used from an existing account within the fediverse.
Would fairly tidily complete the whole ecosystem to the point where you could do just about anything with it.

GOSH I love reading full articles from @write_as in the new single-column view.
The attached screenshot is after clicking through a "read article" link, one of the features of my new Mastodon fork, Hometown. I hope to have documentation and release notes ready to go by the end of the week!

I'm not completely sure what you mean?
Do you mean like a place to store your photos? Or some kind of social network?
