Lots of little stuff, nothing major.
For example, one thing that concerns me is if I recommend an alternative that later goes bad, the ebook is still out there on people's devices recommending it.

Reminder: I'm delisting the Switching Social Handbook this Sunday night.
If you want to buy a copy, this is your last chance:
https://www.kobo.com/ebook/the-switching-social-handbook
The book is a companion to the site, looking at online privacy in a bit more detail while still aimed at a non-technical audience.
It's a DRM-free ePub file, so you can use it on your favourite compatible app or device, as well as make unlimited backups etc.
If you have any questions, comments or problems, let me know and I will try to help.
Same. The Fediverse seems to be a much better place for alternatives 👍
A fantastic curated list of open-source game clones:

Thank you for trying 👍

Wow, that looks amazing! I'll do a post about it at some point.
Does the project have a fediverse account people could follow?

Thank you for buying! 👏
I tried to make the book complement the website rather than replace it. If you just want alternatives, they are all listed on the site.
The book is mostly just going into more depth about why particular kinds of alternatives are a good idea.
I don't know if it suits the website format, because the articles are quite long. I'm guessing most people would prefer a summary, which is already what the website is.
I did look at it originally but the economics don't really work for a short physical book :(
Thank you! :blobcheer:
I'm delisting the switching.social handbook at the end of next week (Sunday 9th June), so if you want to buy a copy now is your final chance:
Maybe there's an Earth-style app that uses OpenStreetMap? Anyone know?
@switchingsocial Is there an alternative to google earth ?
So... are they encouraging people to join a centralised service, or is this a promotion of a Nextcloud-style open source suite?
