   @administrator It seems Akkoma is not able to send messages or follows to GNU Social.

   Is this a known issue or might it be instance-specific?
   
   I don't think envs is blocking gsnet, as I can find some gsnet posts and users over there.

     @notclacke So, let's see:
     - I've just tried exchanging messages with nixnet.social (Akkoma) and everything is fine.
     - I can see some posts from pleroma.envs.net here, but they are certainly old (11 months).
     - I can't follow your pleroma.envs.net from two different GNUSocial servers.
     - The server is not blocked here.
     
     Mixed results, as you can see. Let's try pinging @notclacke@pleroma.envs.net and if it arrives, please, answer back. I'll have a look at the logs.

     @notclacke It doesn't work, not from here, and not from another GNUSocial server.
     Are the users and posts from gsnet you see there recent?

     But as your comment doesn't linkify the envs user it seems there's something gsnet finds odd about envs.

     @notclacke Yes, that would explain it, also the "401 Unauthorized" I was seeing...
     Authorized Fetch is planned in version 3 of GS, we'll have to wait.

     @administrator They have a hypothesis: It could be because envs has Authorized Fetch enabled.
