   I just click the "Reply" icon, and the !StatusNet software takes care of the rest. Maybe this will stop working when I get around to upgrading to !GNUsocial

     @shnoulle the issue I have with !gnusocial is every @mention takes up characters in an already small character limit

     @shnoulle casual discussions on !gnusocial involving more than 2 or 3 users have to consist of *very* short posts, or big chains of them

     @strypey There's a very simple solution to that: move to a !gnusocial server that doesn't try to mimic Twitter's arbitrary restrictions.
